Growing up, I spent hours alone with my Lego sets, constructing intricate worlds, building elaborate vehicles and sending them on great adventures through space (that is, in my imagination). How fitting that, through a partnership with Lego, NASA is exporting these incredible toys to the far reaches of our solar system. These three Lego figures—representing the Greek god Zeus, the goddess Juno and the Italian philosopher Galileo, will be making the 5-year trip to Jupiter aboard the Juno space probe, giving them bragging rights as the farthest traveling playthings in history.
