I was happy to stumble upon this collection of vintage picnic photos spanning nearly 100 years. From the turn of the century through the 50s, 60s and 70s, it’s fun to see how the fashions have changed—and look at that plaid basket!

This is Gus. He tries to act tough but really he’s a big softy. He’s scared of a lot of things: hardwood floors, citrus fruits, wind chimes, soda cans, feet and the vacuum cleaner, just to name a few. He has a lot of quirks, but that makes us love him all the more. He’s got personality for sure.
