I always miss the harvest moon – the full moon appearing closest to the Autumnal Equinox. Thankfully, NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day helps me get my yearly fix.

Fall is my favorite season, without question. Not only for the crisp  air, rosy cheeks and vibrant foliage, but also for the food. Think  creamy squash soups, hearty chilis, apple crisps and pumpkin-spiced  anything. It doesn’t get much better than that.
