Here, Halsman joins Marilyn Monroe for a little leap.

I’ll never forget watching in awe the “clavadistas” outside of Acapulco, Mexico as a child. The dive is in such a tight, rocky channel that they must time their jump with the incoming waves so there is enough depth to not hit bottom!
